Horizon Screening
& Slatted Designs
Our Horizon screening features horizontal slats that create sleek, modern lines, perfect for contemporary gardens and urban areas. Available with 1 inch or 1/2 inch gaps between slats, the design allows you to manage the level of privacy and airflow while maintaining visual flow. Slatted screening is also a practical choice for exposed or windy gardens, reducing wind speed without forming a solid barrier.
The wider 1 inch spacing provides partial screening with more light passing through, making it suitable for dividing areas within a garden without forming solid barriers. The narrower 1/2 inch spacing offers more complete privacy while still allowing air to flow. For those needing specific dimensions or gap widths, our Horizon Custom option allows you to order screening panels specially made to your requirements.
Solid Boarded Screening for Complete Privacy
Where complete privacy is needed, our Solid Boarded panels offer full enclosure. Traditional tongue and groove boards are fitted, creating a seamless surface that completely blocks views while providing significant wind protection.
This style is suitable for defining property boundaries, screening service areas, and situations where noise reduction is advantageous. The solid build also offers a backdrop for wall-trained plants and espalier fruit trees.
Timber Selection & Finish
We work with a variety of sustainably sourced timbers, from iroko, oak, and cedar, to Accoya and Sapele. Each timber type is selected for its durability and dimensional stability, ensuring screening panels remain straight and secure over time.
Natural timber finishes weather to soft greys and silvers, blending with planting and stonework. Painted finishes enable screening to match architectural detailing or create contrast against rendered walls. We can produce screening panels to your specified dimensions.
