Versailles Planters, Natural or painted

The Versailles Planter is a classic of garden design, and one that rewards the quality of craftsmanship invested in it. At Stuart Garden Architecture, each planter is made to order in our Somerset workshop using kiln dried Iroko hardwood, joined throughout using traditional mortice and tenon construction. The result is a planter built to the same structural standard as our gates, arbours, and garden structures, designed to remain in your garden for decades rather than seasons.

Stop chamfered posts and rails give each planter a refined, architectural quality, while the integral turned finials add a finishing detail that distinguishes a handcrafted piece from anything mass-produced. Every planter is hand-sanded before leaving the workshop, whether it is destined for a natural timber finish or a painted colour matched to a specific scheme.
