property developers

The external spaces of a development make an immediate and lasting impression. Thoughtfully designed and beautifully crafted garden structures are not an afterthought; they are part of what makes a development genuinely desirable. Stuart Garden Architecture has worked with developers and contractors for many years, and we understand both sides of the equation: the commercial importance of quality and the practical demands of delivering it on time.

Quality that adds lasting value

Every structure we create is handcrafted at our Somerset workshop and built to last. We select timber species for their durability, character, and suitability for each project, and each piece is finished to a standard that complements the development. Whether a scheme involves a single feature pergola or a comprehensive range of bespoke garden structures across multiple plots, the quality of craftsmanship remains consistent.

Our selection includes everything a development is likely to need for external timber structures: custom pergolas, garden screening, jointed trellises, timber gates, timber planters, seating, and more. All items are made to order and can be finished in natural or painted finishes.

Experienced on landmark schemes

Stuart Garden Architecture was commissioned by the Henley Brewery development in Oxfordshire, working through main contractor Galliford Try Ltd, to manufacture, and install circular and straight pergolas, a gatehouse, a stairwell shelter, and planters as part of a prestigious residential conversion. At Pinner Medical Centre in Middlesex, engaged by ROK Construction, we manufactured, and installed a bridge and walkway for the main entrance of the building.

These projects speak to the scale and complexity we can handle, as well as our experience working within contractor-led programmes without losing sight of the craftsmanship that makes our work worth specifying in the first place.

A single point of contact,
start to finish

Design, manufacture, and installation are all managed internally by our own team. This ensures clear accountability, simple communication, and avoids the issues that arise from coordinating multiple contractors. Our installation team are experienced at working on live development sites, attentive to other trades, and dedicated to delivering neat, accurate work that upholds the standards of the broader scheme.
